Jay's probably the one who gets screwed over the most design and story wise. I mean what is his story? He's a guy so he likes sports, and becomes a team player. Ok sure, but we can be a bit more creative than that.
Many have theorised that he is actually the son of Aladdin and Jasmine, which I LOVE. In this story, Jafar stole baby Jay just before the barrier was cast, and no one knew what happened to him. This'll explain why Jay really wasn't treated well by Jafar (guy almost got crushed by a telly for pete's sake), and why he sent him to Auradon to get the magic lamp (diamond in the rough).
And throughout my headcanon story, he discovers his real parents and becomes Prince Jay.
For his design, I went more timeless and arabic, and had some fun with the colours. In the movie, the duality between blue and red was amazing. Red meaning bad, and blue meaning good. He wears red while he still believes Jafar is his father, and is "evil", and later wears blue to symbolise his turn to the good side, and his real parents.

This is pretty cool. I saw that you've also did a redesign of Carlos. Do you plan on doing redesigns of other Descendants characters? I'm personally curious to see how you would do a redesign of Mal or even Jordan from the Wicked World Series.
